Rust uses the default recording device. Set Voicemod in Windows before joining a server.
Soundboard while you use Rust
Clips for Rust ride the same virtual mic as your speech. If OBS also captures the headset, listeners hear a double.
One suppressor, matched sample rate
Rust only sees a microphone name. If that name is still your headset, Pro is installed but not selected.
If Rust ignores the virtual device
Active voice in teams can clip; leave a little headroom on the Pro output.
