Select the mic in OBS
Add Audio Input Capture → Voicemod. Monitor in Advanced Audio Properties. Skip a second noise gate. Do not use Application Audio Capture on Voicemod and a mic capture together.
Soundboard while you use OBS
Bind clips in Voicemod Pro, not inside OBS, so keys do not collide with the game or call overlay.
One suppressor, matched sample rate
Match sample rate to 48 kHz on the headset, Voicemod Pro, and OBS if it exposes a rate. Mismatches sound like static.
If OBS ignores the virtual device
Sync offset if you also capture game audio.

Why does OBS still use my headset?
